We'll, at least we made it as far as Chicago...so far

Amid a three-hour predawn drive and morning thunderstorm, our team arrived safely at Chicago O'Hare International Airport.  We easily checked the boxed bikes and gear and are ready to board a Korean Air 747 behemoth for a 12+ hour flight to Seoul, South Korea.  We'll celebrate the New Year in South Korea and Vietnam.  We wish all our loved ones and friends a Happy New Year.  Our next post will be from either South Korea or Vietnam.

No, Daniel is not glowing with radiation; it's the reflective gear.  Just so you'll know, this is what our reflective gear looks like in the headlights of a vehicle.

  2. Kevin, Greg & All - It is great to read of your adventures ------ I am jealous! Looks like some beautiful territory and challenging biking. I am thinking about your trip every day, I talked to my dad about it just this morning.

    Enjoy the ride! Greg Groves
